Scandal-hit pizza tycoon Herman Cain may be out of the presidential race but he's wasted no time returning to the spotlight to resuscitate his image - with a warm and cozy Christmas video featuring his wife, Gloria.
The former Republican candidate dropped his bid for the White House after several sexual misconduct accusations and claims of a 13-year extra-marital affair surfaced.
But the married couple have put on a united display for the holiday clip, sitting in front of a roaring fire as Cain reads an excerpt of the Christmas story from the Bible.
The four-minute video, entitled 'It's Christmas in America!' opens with a pair of glowing candles flickering by a fireplace, and the word 'Peace' appears on the mantle.
The camera pans and in soft focus reveals the Cains sitting behind a lit Christmas tree, as the former Godfather Pizza CEO begins to read the story of Jesus’ birth.
The couple smile and hold hands, exchanging glances between the scripture.
A message posted below the online video reads: 'As we experience the joys of Christmas this year, let us not forget the birth of Christ and what it means to mankind.'
Holiday wishes continue from supporters across the nation in the video, paid for by Cain's company Friends of Herman Cain, Inc.
'Peace be with you,' says Gloria Cain. 'Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season from our family to yours,' her husband adds.
Cain's campaign crashed earlier this month, shortly after Atlanta businesswoman Ginger White stepped forward to say she had a 13-year affair with the GOP candidate.
Mr Cain’s attorney Lin Wood fired back at Ms White and her allegations, calling them 'just nonsense'.
Cain was accused of sexual misconduct by four other women:
Two, including Karen Kraushaar, claim they were paid off after Mr Cain harassed them at the National Restaurant Association
A third woman claims Mr Cain commented on her looks and then invited her to his apartment
Sharon Bialek, who was the first to reveal her identity, claims that Mr Cain tried to make her perform a sex act in exchange for a job.
In announcing he was stepping away from the campaign, Mr Cain pointed to his wife of 43 years and how she has handled the sexual allegations: 'That spin hurts. It hurts my wife. It hurts my family. It hurts me. And it hurts the American people, because you're being denied solutions to our problems.'
But, he also made sure to say that his wife wasn't forcing him out, either.
Cain, who recently launched a website to promote his controversial 9-9-9 tax plans, has said he will soon endorse a GOP candidate.
He appeared last night on Barbara Walters interview special '10 Most Fascinating People', revealing his plans if the GOP win the White House next fall to make a bid for secretary of defense.
