Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum is due to speak shortly amid US media reports he is poised to quit his campaign.
The former Pennsylvania senator is about to hold a news conference in Gettysburg in his home state.
The social conservative had been campaigning for Pennsylvania's primary on 24 April.
His exit would leave former Masachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as the all but certain nominee.
